Where are you working?

At home

Keep it simple: a light bottle for your desk, or a jug if you prefer to refill your glass.

Keep your desk simple

KINTO Water Bottle

Blue · 500 ml

The 500 ml size suits a desk with little spare space. The handle built into the cap makes it easy to carry.

The compromise : No thermal insulation. The cap unscrews for drinking, so it is better suited to a pause than one-handed use.

A simple refill for your glass

BRITA Style eco

Cool · 2.4 l · Glacier Blue

The useful capacity of 1.4 l of filtered water fills several glasses. A light reminds you to replace the cartridge.

The compromise : Filtering does not make unsafe water drinkable. Cartridges are consumables that need replacing; the contents of the Amazon bundle can change.

Keep the ritual going

OXO Good Grips

Water Bottle Cleaning Set · 1329080

Three complementary brushes cover the bottle, straw and lid details. A ring keeps them together while allowing each to detach.

The compromise : Check the neck diameter and access to your bottle parts. Brushing does not replace disassembly or the manufacturer’s instructions.

A slim bottle for your commute

Mepal Ellipse

Nordic sage · 500 ml

Its slim shape and loop are useful when taking up less space matters more than carrying a larger reserve.

The compromise : Not insulated. With 500 ml, plan for refills; this model does not open at the push of a button.

Duralex Le Picardie, Transparent · 31 cl · ×6

A glass for a desk that stays put

Duralex Le Picardie Made in France

Transparent · 31 cl · ×6

We chose this straightforward glass to accompany a carafe. The set can also suit a small shared space.

The compromise : An open glass can spill. Keep it away from the keyboard; six glasses may be more than you need.

A carafe without cartridges

WMF Basic

Black · 1 l · 0617706040

The tilting lid follows the pouring motion. We chose it for refilling a glass without managing consumables.

The compromise : No filtration or insulation. Glass needs a stable surface; a pouring stopper is not a travel-bottle closure.

For a filter jug you already own

BRITA MAXTRA PRO

Pure Performance · ×4

A useful refill for existing equipment. A replacement cartridge is not a reason to buy a new jug.

The compromise : Cartridges only, no jug included. Check compatibility; filtering does not make unsafe water drinkable.

A bamboo-clad tea break

pandoo Bambou

Naturel · 480 ml · POBTF02

An inner stainless steel wall, double-wall insulation and a removable strainer combine carrying and brewing loose-leaf tea.

The compromise : Bamboo covers the exterior; the drink touches stainless steel. The screw cap needs both hands and the drink may stay very hot.

An insulated bottle for hot or cold drinks

Qwetch Originals

Bleu Nuit · 500 ml

A double-wall stainless steel body and screw cap offer a straightforward way to carry water, coffee or tea.

The compromise : This is not a quick-opening travel mug. It needs hand-washing, and the drink may stay very hot even when the outside feels cool.

A 350 ml capacity and handle suit a long coffee or a cup of tea. The glazed surface keeps everyday cleaning straightforward.

The compromise : No lid or vacuum insulation: this mug belongs on your desk rather than in a bag. Ceramic can still chip or break if knocked.

Take coffee along, without a button

KINTO TRAVEL TUMBLER

Stainless steel · 350 ml · 20931

The 350 ml format, vacuum-insulated steel and broad drinking opening offer an alternative to push-button lids.

The compromise : Both closure pieces need careful tightening. No one-handed opening; coffee may stay very hot. Not for carbonated drinks.

Press, then take a sip

EMSA TRAVEL MUG Classic

Noir · 360 ml · N20202

The Quick Press lid allows drinking around its rim. A silicone sleeve helps with grip, and the lid comes apart for cleaning.

The compromise : The mechanism and seals need careful cleaning. Check that it is closed before packing it away; the contents may remain very hot.
